Over the years, PAX has contributed a wide variety of works to the Standard Chartered Bank portraiture-based collections in the company’s UK, America and Asian offices. Being more concerned with showing a diversity of ethnicities and supporting fledgling artists. From portraits of subjects from Tibet to Xian to Inner Mongolia, the faces reflect some of the several dozen disparate ethnic groups across China. Seeded throughout SC’s employee’s offices, from the Chairman’s office in London to meeting rooms in Singapore, herewith a selection that PAX has commissioned of everyday people, famous people, the old, young, exuberant, reflective – people of all colours and creeds.
